Allotment of Shift In JEE Main 2019
There has been a major confusion in the minds of the aspiring candidates about day and shift of the JEE Main 2019 Examination January Session. Candidates should jot this down that only NTA can choose the day and shift of the examination. It is not in the hands of the candidates to select the day and time for the examination. How To Select Exam Shift And Day
Candidates have been facing confusion related to JEE Main 2019 Examination Day and Shifts. It has been specified clearly in the notice issued by NTA that candidates do not have a choice to select the day and shift. It will be selected by NTA only. Candidates have only one choice which is to select the 4 test centres as per their preference. However, the final declaration of test centres will be conveyed to students in their admit card only.
The major cause of the confusion is because it has been notified in the information bulletin that for JEE Main 2019 (January Session) is that exact city, date and shift of examination for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be made available on November 15, 2018, on NTA’s website. However, in the recent notice released by NTA, the dates for the availability of test centres, date as well as shifts have been declared by NTA.
How many times can one sit for the examination?
For the January session, the examination will be held in 8 sittings. Candidates will have to choose the dates of their choice and come for the examination in the respective test centres. In other words, there will be total 8 dates available for the examination on which the examination will be held. Candidates are required to select one date for the examination which they find most suitable. However, the final declaration of dates and shifts as well as test centres will be decided by National Testing Agency only and will be conveyed to the desirous candidates on the prescribed dates mentioned in the table above.
JEE Main 2019 Application Form
Candidates can now apply for JEE Main 2019. Candidates will have to first register themselves if they want to appear in the examination. Candidates can apply for JEE Main 2019 on the main website of NTA as well as JEE. It is to be noted that candidates will have to register themselves before the lapse of the deadline. A noteworthy thing which candidates have to keep in mind if they have to submit the application form successfully is the payment of the fee. JEE Main 2019 Examination Procedure
It has been noticed that JEE Main 2019 January Session Examination will be held from January 06 to January 20, 2019. However, it is made clear now that the examination will take place only on weekends i.e., only on Saturdays and Sundays.
