Assam CEE 2020 – Assam Combined Entrance examination is held as a combined exam for the candidates interested in the Bachelor courses in Engineering. It’s an examination which is held at a state level. The examination is conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University. The examination will be divided into three of its sections. The sections will be Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The examination will be totally based on the 10+2 questions. The candidates will need to prepare accordingly. If the candidates will be scoring good and higher then they will be placed at a higher rank in the merit list. Assam CEE 2020 Eligibility

The candidates will need to be eligible according to the eligibility criteria mentioned. If any of the candidates are not able to fulfill the eligibility criteria then their candidature can be canceled at any point of time. The candidates are requested to seek the eligibility criteria before applying for the same.   • Candidates applying should be legal citizens of India.
  • Candidates will need to be permanent residents of Assam.
  • Candidates should be having Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of     50 %, 45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST.
  • Candidate applying should have appeared for all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English together.
  • Candidate must not be above the age limit of the 21 years or below the age limit of 17 years.
  •  Upper age limit is relaxed to 22 years in case of B.Sc. passed Candidates and 3 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates applying for the same should have a good moral character.
  • Candidate must be fit physically and mentally as well.

Assam CEE 2020 Application Form

The candidates who are applying for the Assam CEE 2020 will need to fill in the examination form. Also, the candidates will need to furnish all their important details such as their personal details, their Educational details, and professional details if any. Once the candidate will be registered then they will be getting an application number to log in further. The candidates will need to also upload their scanned documents as specified. So as to complete the application from the candidate will need to make the payment for the same within the given time period for the successful completion of the process. The candidates will need to be ready by keeping few documents handy so as to complete the process. The documents required are mentioned below.

The candidates will need to pay a fee of Rs. 600/- (Six hundred only) through either of the methods ie. either by Credit card/ Debit Card / Net Banking. Candidates can also make the fee payment at any of the “State Bank Collect” and will need to submit it at any branch of State Bank of India. The fee paid by the candidate will not be refundable.

Assam CEE 2020 Admit Card

The candidates will be getting their Admit cards 2020 as soon the application process will get over. The Science and Technology University will be declaring the Admit card 2020 on the official website. The candidates will be able to get their admit cards by entering the Application number and Date of Birth.  Once, done the candidates will be able to get their admit cards. The candidates are requested to carry their admit cards to examination hall if any of the candidates is found to be present without the admit card then they won’t be allowed to appear in the examination hall. The candidates admit card will be containing the following information on it as provided below.

  • Candidates Name
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Roll Number of the candidate
  • Schedule of the examination
  • Venue of the examination

Assam CEE 2020 Exam Pattern

The examination will be divided into three parts which are

  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry

Each section will be comprised of 40 questions in each one of them. The time duration that will be provided to the candidates will be 3:00 hours so as to finish the examination. Whereas each correct answer by the candidate would fetch +4 marks, every incorrect answer would fetch the candidate a -1 mark. The questions obtained by the question paper will be in either of the languages which are English and Assamese.

Assam CEE 2020 Preparation Tips

Candidates need to roll their sleeves for all those who will be appearing in Assam CEE 2020. The candidates will be requiring good tips so as to prepare for their examinations. Few of the helpful tips are as mentioned below.

  • The candidates will need to test their examination attempting speed.
  • The candidates are also requested to go through the syllabus and the examination pattern properly before they start to prepare for the examination.

Assam CEE 2020 Result

The result will be declared by the concerned official authorities. After the result getting declared the merit list will also get declared. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their scores. Also the candidates will get shortlisted for the admission process. The candidates will be placed according to their scores in the merit list, the higher the scores scored by the candidate the more better rank will be bagged by them. The candidates with higher ranks will be getting their seats prior to the other candidates in the list.

Tie-breaker

In the condition of a tie, where two or more candidates will be securing the same score in the examination. Then the candidates will be put through the Tie-Breaker criteria. The tie-breaker criteria will be as mentioned beneath.

  • The PCM aggregate of class XII will be considered.
  • If still persists then the overall aggregate of PCM and English will be taken into consideration.
  • If still, the situation persists then the candidates will be selected by the Chairman of the selection committee.

The shortlisting might take place on the basis of the merit list. If the candidate will be having higher scores their rankings will also be high. The candidates with the better scores will be getting seats allotted earlier than others.

Assam CEE 2020 Counselling

The candidates will need to wait for the counseling round. As soon the result will be announced the counseling round will be taking place right after it. The candidates will be getting their seats allotted to them as per the merit list. Also, the candidates those who will be scoring higher marks will be getting better ranks in the merit list.
