AUAT 2019- Aliah University conducts Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) for the candidates who want to take admission in Undergraduate and Post – Graduate Programmes. The University grants admission to candidates in various departments like Engineering, Management, Arts & Humanities etc. Candidates need to match with other eligibility criteria too in order to appear for AUAT 2019. However, candidates have to keep in touch with the guidelines of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board as Aliah University follows their guidelines. AUAT 2019

Candidates can apply for UG & PG Programmes by applying online for AUAT 2019. Candidates will have to first match with the eligibility criteria set by the governing authority. Candidates will have to follow the guidelines of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE). Candidates can refer to the schedule given below to know more about AUAT 2019.

AUAT 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Distribution of Questions: AUAT 2019 question paper will be comprising 80% of questions from the relevant subject and 20% on General knowledge and Islamic Culture.
  • Duration:  AUAT 2019 examination is of 1-hour duration for UG and 1 and a half hour for PG.
  • Questions from which subjects: All B.Tech Programmes will comprise of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
    The questions for M.Tech will be on the concerned subject.
  • Nature of Questions: The questions will be Multiple – Choice Questions. (MCQ) which are to be answered on a specifically designed machine-gradable sheet (ORS – Optical Response Sheet)
  • Total Marks: The question paper for UG will be of 50 marks in total and the question paper of PG will be of 100 marks in total.

AUAT 2019 Syllabus

For B.Tech: Candidates will have to prepare in the subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as per the syllabus of class 11th and 12th of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

For M.Tech: Candidates will have to prepare for M.Tech on the basis of syllabus prescribed for GATE.

Eligibility Criteria for AUAT 2019

B.Tech

  1. Candidates must have obtained 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 Examination and at least 50% in Mathematics.
  2. Candidates appearing in 10+2 Examination in the year 2019 can also apply for AUAT 2019. However, their admission will be cancelled if they do not meet the above – mentioned at the later stage.

Qualifying Examination for UG Programmes (Other Eligibility Criteria)

Candidates will have to match certain other eligibility criteria in order to take admission in Undergraduate Programmes. Candidates can check the information provided below for the same:

  1. Intermediate or 2 year Pre- University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or University.
  2. Final Examination of the 2 year courses of the Joint Services Wing of National Defense Academy.
  3. High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
  4. General Certificate of Education (GEC) Examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  5. The final examination of the 10+2  system conducted by any recognized Central / State Board such as West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education (WBBME), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) etc.
  6. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects or H.S. Examination conducted by W.B Council of Rabindra Open Schooling.

Physical Fitness Test

All the qualified candidates will be required to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format specified by the governing authority which will be made available at the appropriate time. Candidates will be admitted only if they are physically fit for pursuing a particular course at Aliah University.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

Candidates who want to pursue any post – graduate course, they must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in B.E. / B.Tech in the relevant course with CGPA 6.5. Candidates whose result are awaited for B.Tech, they could also apply only if their CGPA is 6.5 till 6th semester.

  • Age Limit for B.Tech Courses – Candidates must be 22 Year old if applying for B.Tech Courses
  • Age Limit for M.Tech Courses – Candidates must be 35 year old if applying for M.Tech Courses

AUAT 2019 Application Form

Candidates applying for AUAT 2019 can obtain the Application Form from the official website of Aliah University. Also, candidates need to first register themselves in order to fill AUAT 2019 Application Form. Candidates need to fill certain details in AUAT 2019 Application Form such name of the candidate, date of birth, address and Choice of Branch. Another thing which candidates have to keep in mind is that, they will have to check the Eligibility Criteria for their respective courses on the first hand. The last step to submit AUAT 2019 Application Form will be the payment of application fee which has to be submitted positively as candidates will not be issued their AUAT 2019 Admit Card unless and until they submit the application fee.

Tips to Fill AUAT 2019 Application Form:

Candidates need to keep certain things in mind while filling the AUAT 2019 Application Form. The instructions which shall be kept in mind are given below:

#Tip 1: The foremost thing which candidate has to do is to fill the name, choice of centre and programme, date of birth, year of passing and percentage of marks very carefully.

#Tip 2: The Application Fee is non – refundable. Thus make sure to read all details before submitting the application form.

#Tip 3: Select the centres as per the preference only. However, the final allotment of test centre will be done by the governing authority. Also, the request for the test centre will not be entertained later at any point in time.

#Tip 4: Proper Pixel and Aspect Ratio must be maintained while submitting a photograph and signature respectively.

#Tip 5: Candidates are advised to ensure the correctness of the mailing address, Pin Code, Mobile Number.

Reservation of Seats at Aliah University

For Candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir

Students belonging to Jammu & Kashmir will be given admission under Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) J&K 2019 – 20. There will be total of 10 supernumerary seats available in B.Tech courses with a limit of 2 seats per branch for them.

For Candidates belonging from WBJEE (for B.Tech only)

10% of the seats are offered to the students who will qualify WBJEE 2019 Examinations. These candidates are exempted from AUAT 2019.

AUAT 2019 Admit Card

AUAT 2019 Admit Card will be issued to students only if they complete the Application Form Filling Process of AUAT 2019. In other words, AUAT 2019 Admit Card will be available online i.e., on the official website of Aliah University which is www.aliah.ac.in. Candidates will observe various things printed on AUAT 2019 Admit Card such as Candidates’ Name, Address of the Candidate, Date and Time of the Examination, Complete Address of the Test Centre. AUAT 2019 Admit Card is an important document which needs to be carried along with a Valid ID Proof at the time of examination. Candidates should note that without AUAT 2019 Admit Card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Important Instruction regarding Test Centre

It is advised to students that they should select the centres carefully. Select the test centres in order of the preferences although the final decision will be made by the governing authority only. Also, it is to be kept in mind that the change in the test centres will not be entertained. So, candidates must be very clear about the selection of test centres while filling the AUAT 2019 Application Form.

AUAT 2019 Result

Candidates who will qualify AUAT 2019 Examination can check their AUAT 2019 Result from the official website of AUAT. A list of successful candidates will be displayed separately on the official website of the University. Also, a separate list of successful candidates will also be displayed for Physical Challenged candidates. Candidates can download their Rank Card by entering their Roll Number on the official website.

AUAT 2019 Merit List

A merit list will be prepared for the students who will qualify AUAT 2019 written examination. The Merit List will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ scores in the examination. The rank card will be consisting of all the important information about counselling which will take place after the release of Rank Card. Also, a separate merit list will be prepared for B.Tech students whereas, on the other hand, there will be a common merit list for all the other courses. Candidates should take a note that a separate list for Physical Challenged candidates will be prepared.

AUAT 2019 Counselling

The candidates who will be selected after AUAT 2019 Examination, they will have to appear in the Online Counselling in order to take admission. To participate in the Online counselling process, candidates will have to register themselves first. It is mandatory to pay the fee to get Registered. The fee must be submitted in the online mode only. Candidates will be allotted different programmes according to their ranks and preferences. After the allotment process, candidates will have to visit the allotted institute with the required documents for the verification process so as to take admission.

Important Information: If any successful candidate fails to register in the Counselling Portal within a stipulated period of time then he will not be allowed to take admission under any circumstances. Also, the successful candidates who have appeared in the written examination in 2019 and whose final results have been published by the last date of e-counselling registration but could not secure minimum marks of eligibility will not be allowed to register for the counselling.

Fee Structure of Aliah University

As of now, the governing authority has not released any information about the fee structure for the candidates who want to take admission in Undergraduate and Post – Graduate Programmes.
