How to Calculate Marks Using BCECE 2019 Answer Key?
After downloading the answer key, an applicant must ensure that he/ she knows the marking scheme of the exam. For this purpose, let us understand the marking scheme:
The 1st stage of examination is of maximum 600 marks with 5 sections. The candidate has to attempt the sections from his/ her group only. Each section will have 50 questions of 4 marks each and for every wrong answer deduction of 1 mark is done.
The 2nd stage of examination is going to have 5 sections of 100 questions with every question of 4 marks which accounts for a maximum of 400 marks for every section.
|Stage||Total Questions||Marks for Each Question||Maximum Marks|
|I||50 from each section||4||600|
|II||100 from each section||4||400 for every section|
Now as you know the marking scheme, calculating the marks will be quite easy for you. The answer key of BCECE 2019 is arranged in the similar pattern as that of question paper. Start with matching the answer in the answer key with the response marked by you. For every right answer add 4 marks and for every wrong response marked, deduct 1 mark. After checking all the answers, calculate the total marks scored by you. This is going to give an estimate of marks that you are going to score in BCECE 2019. However, these are estimated scores and you must not consider it as a final result.
