Both JEE Main and BITSAT are national level engineering entrance exams. Most of the candidates appear for both the exams to take admission in UG engineering courses after class 12. Thus, many candidates have this question what are the differences between the two and which one is easier. Thus here is a summarised comparison of the two:

JEE main requires a balance between speed and accuracy In BITSAT speed is important. It although requires accuracy but maintaining speed while solving the problems is the key.
Questions are concept based. Candidates need to have a very strong hold of the basics. A few questions might be on the trickier side. In BITSAT, questions are straightforward and need a direct application of formulas.
JEE Main requires a little more effort than just NCERT. However, NCERT is important here too. But candidates have to go an extra mile to achieve a decent rank. BITSAT is all about NCERT. Solving NCERT book 100% will lead to cracking BITSAT without any hurdle.
In JEE Main the time per question is more as compared to BITSAT. Thus, candidates can spend a decent thinking time on each question. In BITSAT, the time per question is much less. One can not spend more than 3 mins in a question. Thus, the key to scoring in BITSAT is to maintain speed and answer as many questions possible.
