CIPET JEE 2019 – Under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, CIPET( Central Institute of Plastic Engineering And Technology) was established with the aim of imparting various undergraduate and postgraduate level courses on plastic engineering and technology. The admissions are provided in these courses as per the norms set up by its affiliated institutes, while for admissions to undergraduate and post-graduate diploma courses CIPET JEE is conducted. To get yourself enrolled in CIPET, one needs to apply and clear CIPET Joint Entrance Exam( JEE). Candidates will be allotted seats across 27 CIPET campuses across India. CIPET JEE 2019 will be a computer-based online entrance. Last year, the exam was conducted in four slots i.e from 9 am to 11 am, 11 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 4 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm. Note that, a candidate can apply for multiple courses if he or she fulfills the eligibility of the particular programme he or she is applying for. He or she needs to pay the application fee separately and needs to appear for CIPET on two different days. CIPET JEE 2019 Selection Process

Candidates, in order to pursue a plastic engineering or technology related course from a premier institute like CIPET, must qualify CIPET JEE. No other entrance examination marks will be taken into consideration for admission purposes into this Institution. CIPET JEE 2019 Selection will be done on the following basis, step by step. CIPET JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through each and every eligibility norm laid down by the University. As each of the 5 courses has separate eligibility norms, all applicants must ensure their eligibility for the course they wish to pursue with CIPET. Though there is no minimum or maximum age, the entry qualification for each course differs. Check the course-specific eligibility from below.

CIPET JEE 2019 Application Form

CIPET JEE 2019 Application forms will be made available to all the candidates over the official website i.e, as per the dates released by the University. The direct link of the same will also be made available under the “Application form” section under quick links. Only those candidates who fill up and submit their applications before the last date lapses will only be considered eligible to appear for the entrance.

Note that, a candidate needs to submit a specified amount as application fee to the University, after which he or she will receive the application form submission confirmation. According to last year, the application fee was 250/-INR for Gen/OBC/OBC(NCL), 50/-INR for SC/STs and free of cost for candidates belonging to the North Eastern States of India. Candidates can make the payment of the application fee by using any of the following payment gateways – Credit card, Debit Card or Net banking.The fee for this year has not yet been released. This page will be updated accordingly after the official release of the information brochure or notification, specifying the same.

CIPET JEE 2019 Admit Card

CIPET JEE 2019 Admit Cards will only be issued to the candidates who have successfully submitted their applications. Candidates will be able to retrieve their admit cards from the official website. It will be advised to retrieve your admit cards on time and store it safely even after the exam, as you may be needed to carry it with you on the day of counseling as well. The University clearly specifies that no candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination premises without a valid admit card. A valid CIPET JEE 2019 Admit Card will have the candidate’s name, exam details, candidate’s examination roll number, his or her photograph, and signature, along with the signature of an authorized signatory. If any of these detail is missing, a candidate needs to report the same to the authorities at the earliest possible.

CIPET JEE 2019 Result

The CIPET JEE 2019 Result will be announced by the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, Chennai. Candidates can visit the official website to view their CIPET JEE 2019 Result. It will be made available in the pdf file format. The candidates will be able to view their results from the “Results” section under the quick links section. Make sure, after viewing your CIPET JEE 2019 Result, you save a copy of it on your device. So, that you can carry it for counseling round and to complete admission formalities.

CIPET JEE 2019 Counseling

After the results are announced, selected candidates will further be called for a counseling round. Candidates will be required to log in to their application portal to download the counseling letters, with the help of their registered mobile number, date of birth and captcha code. Once a candidate clears this round, he or she will be asked to pay off the admission fee for the engineering seat, he or she has been allotted.

CIPET JEE 2019 Reservation Policy

CIPET aims to provide equal opportunities among the people belonging to the minority classes. So, has designed its reservation policy to provide them with fair chances to pursue engineering. It follows the category-wise distribution of seats for admission purposes. Candidates can check the same from the below!

  • General – 47.5%
  • SCs and STs – 15% and 7.5% respectively
  • OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) – 27%
  • Physically Challenged – 3%

CIPET JEE 2019 Fee Structure

The CIPET JEE 2019 Course fee has not yet been released. As soon as it is released, this page will be updated accordingly. But for the time being, candidates can consult the previous year(2018)fee table below to get an idea of the semester wise course fee of various engineering disciplines.

  • Candidates need to pay Students Insurance Fee of 100/- per year.
  • Other than that, candidates need to submit 200/- INR per theory or practical paper as examination fee, whereas 250/- INR per theory or practical paper as supplementary examination fee.
  • But at the time of admission, candidates need to only pay the admission fee (which was 1500/- INR last year), caution money deposit( which was 500/- INR last year) and an alumni fee(which was 150/- INR last year).
  • If any candidate wishes to stay in the hostel, the rent he or she needs to submit will be around 10,000 INR per semester, plus hostel mess charges will be separately charged.
  • For hostel provision, candidates will be needing to submit an amount of 1000/- INR as caution money deposit.
