As per the latest announcement, the CUSAT CAT 2018 Result will now be available in the First week of June 2018 in the official website of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), www.cusat.nic.in. Previously the date of release was in the month of May 2018. But due to unknown reason, the results of CUSAT CAT 2018 B.Tech has been delayed. The CUSAT CAT 2018 Rank List will be based on the marks you score in the CUSAT CAT 2018 Exam. The CUSAT CAT Result 2018 will contain your score/marks in the test and thus according to it, you will be placed in the CUSAT CAT rank List 2018.

As soon as the candidates will check their scores through CUSAT CAT Result 2018, they will also get their All India Ranks in the CUSAT CAT 2018 Rank List. How to check CUSAT CAT 2018 Result

To check the CUSAT CAT Result 2018, you will need your CUSAT CAT 2018 Roll Number. Once you have it follow the steps below to download the result:

How is the CUSAT CAT 2018 Result evaluated?

The Result is evaluated using the official marking scheme of the exam which is +3 for correct answers and -1 for wrong answers. As per the right response of the candidates and the wrong ones, the score will be calculated using the formula:

Total Score= 3R – 1W
Where S is the CAT score, R is the number of right answers and W is the number of wrong answers.

Details on CUSAT CAT 2018 Result

The CUSAT CAT Result 2018 will contain the following details:

  2. Roll Number of the candidate
  3. Course and Category of the candidate
  4. Score/All India Ranks/Ranks of the candidate

CUSAT CAT 2018 Rank List

The candidates will be placed in the CUSAT CAT rank list 2018. Only those who score a minimum of 10 marks in each of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, in B.Tech. Exam will be placed in the rank list.

If there is tie in the marks, the following norms will be implemented:

  • The marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry will be considered in the
    same order.
  • If the tie continues the total number of correct answers of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry will be considered in the same order.
  • If the tie continues after applying the above two conditions, dates of birth of the candidates in the descending order will be considered.
  • If the tie continues after applying the above three conditions, the names of the candidates in alphabetical order will be considered.

After CUSAT CAT 2018 Result Declaration

After the CUSAT CAT Result 2018 are declared, Coachin University of Science nad Technology will release notification regarding the Counselling schedule on the webiste itself. The Qualifying candidates whose name appear in the CUSAT CAT 2018 Rank List must visit the webiste regularly for counselling related updates and visit the institution in person to take part in the counselling formalities.
