CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Fees

The fee payment can be done by either Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking. The CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Fees is as follows:

CUSAT CAT 2019 Photo And Signature Specifications

  • Candidates need to Upload a recent passport size photograph of yourself with your well-lit face clearly visible, in portrait orientation.
  • The maximum file size of your photograph should not be larger than 500kb.
  • The dimensions of the photo should be 150px x 180px.
  • Upload a scanned image of your signature, in landscape orientation.
  • The maximum size not greater than 100kb.
  • The dimensions should be 130px x 57px.
  • The image format can be .png or .jpg or .jpeg.

How to Fill CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Form?

To fill the CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Form the candidates need to follow the steps that are as follows:

Step 1: Registration

  • To register for the exam, the candidates have to click on the direct link that is available on this page above.
  • On clicking the link, the following window will open, click on the “new candidates registration” button as shown below:

  • Now, on clicking the button, the candidates have to fill in the details like name, mobile number, email id and a password of their choice. After that the candidates ace to click the “submit” button as shown below:

  • On submitting the details, an activation mail will be sent to the registered mobile id. It has to accessed to proceed further. Check the image below for reference:
  • Next, on a new tab, the candidate will be able to see the login window, this means your registration was successful and you will be displayed the success message on the screen, Check the image below:

Step 2: Filling The CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Form

  • Now on the next step, the candidates will be able to see their registration number. Note it down for future references. There will be other important instructions too, read them and click on “start registration” button.

  • In the application form, the candidates have to fill in the following details Personal Details
    1. Name
    2. Parent’s name
    3. Date of birth
    4. Gender
    5. Nationality
    6. Address
    7. Reservation details.

Step 3: Uploading Photo and Signature

In this stage, the candidates need to upload their photo and signature. The photo must be a recent passport-sized image, scanned very clearly. The signature must be ina running hand and understandable.

Step 4: Selecting The Course

This is one of the most important steps. There are 3 stages here, check below:

  1. Select the programme or combination of programmes from the dropdown list: For eg: if the candidate wishes to appear for the undergraduate course like B.Tech or IMSc or BBA LLB or BVoc programmes need to select Undergraduate Programme. The candidate who wishes to apply for Postgraduate programmes and MBA, the selection, of course, should be accordingly.
  2. Next, select the qualification which you are going to acquire or already acquired: On the basis of the qualification selected by you, the list of programmes available in the University will be listed. The candidate should add the course(s), he/she wish to apply, to the right side list box using the select button. Then click “Select Courses” button.
  3. After confirming courses, the details of Test subjects will be displayed: If multiple test options are available, the candidate need to select the appropriate one from the options displayed, based on the candidates’ qualification

Step 5: Short Preview

here is where you can see how your filled in application form appears. Candidate should check the short preview carefully. In case of any change, go to the required page and save for changes, if any. Note that after confirming short preview, editing will not be allowed.

Step 6: Payment

After confirming the preview online payment to be made. Payment can be made through all Credit Card, all Debit Card or Net banking of almost all Banks.

Step 7: Selecting The Center

After successful completion of payment, the list of available centers will be displayed. The candidate should select one of the test centers where seats available.

On completing the above steps the application process will be complete.

CUSAT CAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are one important factor before one starts to fill the application form. thus, below are the important eligibility needs that one must fulfill to be eligible to appear in CUSAT CAT 2019.

  • Candidates must have Passed 10+2.
  • The minimum marks that are needed in qualifying 10+2 exam is a separate minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
  • Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Cast (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination.
  • SEBC candidates of Kerala State belonging to non-creamy layer category are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for the qualifying examination.

Eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to take admission in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building:

  • Candidates must have Passed 10+2.
  • PCM average of not less than 60% marks and minimum 50% for Mathematics alone.
  • Also, the candidate Should have passed English at 10th or 12th Standards with 50% marks (applicable to SC/ST candidates also).
  • Candidate’s Maximum age limit prescribed is 25 years as on 1st September of the year of admission.

For instrumentation technology

  • Candidate must have Passed in the plus two (12th) examination
  • The qualifying marks in 10+2 must be at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together and with at least 55% in Mathematics separately.
  • Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Cast (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination.
  • SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination.
