DAV University conducts DAV University Aptitude Test (DAVUET 2019) to grant admission to students who want to pursue various Undergraduate and Post – Graduate Programmes. The examination is conducted in the offline mode. However, the application forms for DAVUET 2019 can be obtained in two ways, online and offline. There is a single way to submit DAVUET 2019 Application Form which is that candidates have to submit their Application Forms in the office of the governing authorities by paying cash or by submitting Demand Draft (DD). DAVUET 2019

Candidates will have to apply for DAVUET 2019 by visiting the official website of DAV University. Candidates will have to keep in mind that the submission of DAVUET 2019 Application Form will have to be done in the offline mode. In other words, they have to submit their application forms by giving Cash or DD to the examination centre allotted by the University. They can also obtain the Application Form for DAVUET 2019 From the office of Principal of the test centre opted/allotted to the candidates. Exam Pattern of DAVUET 2019

  • Medium: The medium of Question Paper will be in English.
  • Type of Questions: DAVUET 2019 Question Paper will be consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question will have 4 choices out of which only 1 answer has to be selected and the appropriate circle is to be shaded on the provided OMR sheet.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, the candidates will get 1 mark each. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Eligibility Criteria for DAVUET 2019

A candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e. 12th Standard in 2016 is eligible to appear in the test. However, he/she shall be admitted to the course only, if he/she provides the proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of admission.

A candidate who has passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate of marks in respective subject. A relaxation of 5% marks will be given to SC Candidates.
The candidates having compartment in 10+2 examination at the time of admission will not be eligible for admission to any course.

DAVUET 2019 Application Form

DAVUET 2019 Application Form will be available on the official website of DAV University. Candidates can download the application form from www.davuniversity.org. Candidates will be required to enter their personal details, communication details and academic details. Also, they need to affix latest passport – size photograph and signature wherever needed. The application forms have to be submitted by hand or by registered post / speed post / courier to the examination centre selected by the candidate in his / her application form. The candidate may also attain DAVUET 2019 Registration Form from the Principal of the opted examination centre by paying Rs 200/-. The payment of Application Fee for DAVUET 2019 can be only done in the offline mode either by Cash or by Demand Draft.

DAVUET 2019 Admit Card

DAVUET 2019 Admit Card will be made available in the online mode. Candidates can download DAVUET 2019 Admit Card from the official website of DAV University i.e, from www.davuniversity.org. It is to be noted that DAVUET 2019 Admit Card will be comprising of important information like Candidate’s Name, Address of the candidate, Date and Time of the Examination, Complete Address of the Test Centre, Photograph and Signature of the candidate. It is to be kept in mind that DAVUET 2019 Admit Card is an important document which will act as an entry ticket at the time of admission, so it has to be kept safely and preserved till the time of admission. DAVUET 2019 Admit Card has to be taken along with a valid ID proof which could be Aadhar Card / Voter ID / Driver’s License / Passport / Any other Government ID Proof.

DAVUET 2019 Test Centres

There are certain rules and regulations which candidates have to follow in order to select the test centre for DAVUET 2019. The important things which have to kept in mind while selecting the Test Centre are given below:

  • The candidate will have to select only one centre for the entrance test.
  • The examination centre once filled in the application form will not be changed.
  • The University will make sure that candidates will get their opted test centres. However, the University will have certain right to allot the centre to candidates as per its wish. In other words, candidates can get the Test Centres apart from their chosen test centres.

DAVUET 2019 Result

The result for DAVUET 2019 will be made available online on the University Website i.e., on www.davuniversity.org. The University will publish a merit list which will be based on the total marks secured in the DAVUET 2019. Also, candidates will have to keep in mind that there no separate merit list for SC/ST candidates will be released. Candidates should also note that there is no provision for re-checking / re-evaluation of the answer sheets and no correspondence related to this will be entertained.

DAVUET 2019 Counselling

After the declaration of DAVUET 2019 Results, the University will also conduct Counselling Process for the students in order to grant admission to them. There will be a proper date and time schedule for Counselling displayed on the official website of DAV University. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Counselling Process at the DAV University premises situated in Jalandhar, Punjab or at a centre to be notified later after the declaration of the result. Candidates will have to appear for counselling round with certain documents such as the Call Letter of Counseling, Admit Card, Mark Sheet of Class 10th, Mark Sheet of class 12th, one valid ID Proof, passport size photographs.
