GATE 2020 Admit Card – IIT Delhi releases the GATE Admit Card over the GOAPS Login. GOAPS is available at official website, that is gate.iitd.ac.in. GATE 2020 Admit Card is releasing on January 03, 2020. The candidates must carry the Admit Card on the exam date out of February 01, 02, 08 and 09, 2020. Application Number and the Password set by the candidate acts as the login credentials to download the GATE 2020 Admit Card. GATE 2020 Admit Card – How to Download?
IIT D issues the GATE 2020 Admit Card to the candidates who fills the Application form before the last date for the same. Candidates need to download the admit card as per the schedule. In order to download the Admit card for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering 2020, the candidates need to follow the steps as mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Delhi GATE 2020 and follow the link to the GOAPS Login window. OR Click on the link above as per the schedule to directly open the GOAPS Login window.
Step 2: Candidates need to login using the Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password. By adding the captcha click on the “Submit” button to proceed further.
Step 3: Once the candidates click on the “Submit” button, they get redirected to the admit card download page. Click on the “Download Admit Card” button, as shown in the image below:
Step 4: Candidates now need to save and download the admit card. But first, they need to check if the information in the Admit Card is correct in every aspect. After the satisfaction, the candidates must take a printout of the Hall Ticket.
GATE 2020 Admit Card – How to Download in case of Forgotten Login Credentials?
Candidates need to download the admit card using the login credentials. There can be a case when the candidate has forgotten the enrollment number or password. While the candidates initiates the Aplication process, they are supposed to generate register. At this time they generate the Login credentials. During the period from the registration to admit card download, sometimes the candidates forget the credentials. Candidates need not worry in such a case, we have given here steps to recover the Enrollment number and Password. Check the steps for the same below:
Step 1: While downloading the Admit Card, candidates can see a link stating “Forgot Enrollment Id and Password” button, Click That! Check the image below for the reference:
Step 2: The candidates are now redirected to a new window where he/she has to request an OTP to receive on the email ID / SMS. There the candidates get 2 options namely:
- Request for an OTP
- Already have an OTP
Step 3: When the candidate selects for “Request for an OTP” option, a new window appears where the candidate has to enter in their mobile number and enrollment Id / Email Id, same as entered during the GATE 2020 Application Form fillup process.
Step 4: A new window appears, here the candidates need to enter the OTP and the enrollment ID / Email ID and a new password. After doing this, click on “Save New Password“
Step 5: Candidates has successfully reset the password. Therefore, they can use the new password and the enrollment id to login and download the GATE Admit Card 2020.

GATE 2020 – Things To Carry At The Exam Center
While appearing for the GATE 2020 exam candidates must bring the Admit Card at th examination center. It acts as the verifying document for the candidate. However, candidates must carry a valid photo government ID proof along with the same. No candidates are allowed to enter the examination hall without producing these two documents on the day of the exam.

GATE 2020 Answer Key and Response Sheet
After the GATE Exam is over, different coaching centers starts releasing the Answer Key for the exam. The answer key released by the coaching centers is called the unofficial answer key. Candidates can check the answer key and get a rough idea of how many answers they marked are correct or incorrect. However, this answer key may not be correct in all aspects.
IIT Delhi also releases the GATE 2020 Answer Keys for all the 25 subjects. This answer key is the official answer key. The score for GATE 2020 is evaluated using the official answer key only. Therefore candidates can rely on this completely. Along with the Official Answer key the Response sheet of the candidate is also released. Response sheet contains all the answer marked by the candidate in the exam. This would allow candidate to evaluate their correct and incorrect answers. GATE 2020 Admit Card Frequently Asked Questions
Ans : NO. Candidates must bring a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card to the Examination for verification along with the original and valid photo Identity Document (NO photocopy/scanned copy/NOT an expired document), which was specified during the filling up of the online application. For Indian candidates, only following identification cards will be accepted: Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee ID and Driving License. For International candidates, ONLY a valid Passport/Government issued ID/College ID/Employee ID will be accepted as the recognized identification. The Admit Card is valid if and ONLY if the candidate’s photograph and signature images are clear and legible. The photograph on the Admit Card and that in the valid photo identity document should match with the appearance of the candidate on the day of examination.
Ans : NO. Hard copy (printed in color) of the Admit Card must be brought to the examination centre along with at least one original (not photocopied/scanned copy) and valid (not expired) Identity Document (ID), which was specified during the filling up of the online application.
Ans : A scribble pad will be provided to the candidate that can be used to do the rough work. The candidate has to return the scribble pad after the examination.
Ans : NO. Candidates will NOT be allowed to leave the GATE 2020 examination hall for any reason during the examination. Candidates are allowed to leave the examination hall only after the scheduled end of the examination.
Ans : Only Admit Card, Identification Card and a pen is permitted to be taken inside the examination hall. Mobile phones, physical calculators, wristwatches, or any other electronic items are NOT permitted inside the examination hall. If a candidate brings any of these items, they have to be kept outside the examination hall at the candidate’s own risk. If the candidate is found to be in possession of these items (even if not using them), he/she will be disqualified and the result will not be declared for the candidate.
Ans : NO. During the online GATE 2020 examination, all candidates will be provided with a virtual scientific calculator which has to be used to answer the questions. Mobile phones, physical calculators, wristwatches, or any other electronic items are NOT permitted inside the examination hall.
Ans : NO. Such arrangements will not be made at the examination centre of GATE 2020. If a candidate brings personal belongings including mobile phones, they have to be kept outside the examination hall at the candidate's own risk.
