Now, filling the application form of JEE Main 2019 is easy if you understand the process well. Therefore, we have tried to explain the same in the simplest of ways herein.

Step 1: Link

Click on the direct link available on this page. The window as shown in the image below will open. Even if you visit the official site of NTA, you will be redirected to this particular window.

Step 2: Reading the Instructions

On click the button as shown in the image above, the page of instructions will open. This page contains the following details, which you must read with utmost care:

  • Examination Fees
  • Application Procedure: Steps to be followed to apply online
  • Important Instruction about PASSWORD
  • How to reset your Password

On reading the above instructions, click on the declaration box as shown below and then click on proceed to apply online button.

Step 3: Authenticating Yourself

The next and most important step is to start the application process by authenticating your identity. This is to be done by selecting the state of eligibility, the Identification ID Type, entering Identification ID, Candidate’s Name (as on the Id and certificates), Date of Birth (as on the Id and certificates), Gender and finally selecting a password.

Step 4: Note Down Application Number and Password

.After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated. candidates need to use it to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form. In addition to that, these will be needed for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Application Number and created Password only.

Step 6: Uploading Scanned Photograph and Signatures

As per the specifications in the table below, candidates have to upload their scanned images of recent photographs and signatures.

The photo must have the name of the candidate and date of capturing it. Write it in neat handwriting with a Black or Blue pen.

Step 7: Payment of Application Fee

the application fee is to be paid next. Now, candidates have to select their preferred mode of paying the application fee which is: Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/e-Challan. Next, as per the choice you select you will be redirected to the payment window. Enter the mode of payment details and pay the requisite application fee for JEE Main 2019.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.

Step 8: Printing Of Confirmation Page and Application Form

After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page. Also, make sure to download the PDF file of the submitted online application form and print it for your reference.

Do not send it to the authorities.

Important Instructions while choosing your JEE Main 2019 Password

While choosing the password for JEE Main 2019, the following points are to be kept in mind:

  • Password must be 8 to 13 character long.
  • Password must have at least one Uppercase Alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one Lowercase alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one numeric value.
  • Password must have at least one special characters [email protected]#$%^&*-

  1. In the declaration part of the confirmation page , it has been printed only “I hereby declare that all the particulars stated in this application form are true to the best of my knowledge and belief” other sentences are not printed , will i won’t get admit card or will i be disqualified .

  2. hello, i have not updated my photo in adhaar card , and i have to take adhaar card to examination hall as id proof , but the photo is old and i have given the application form and correction is also over . will they allow me to write the exam??

  3. i did not update my photo in adhaar card and i have to take my adhaat card to examination hall , the photo is too old will they allow me write the examination hall , and the address in adhaar and adress i have given is different .
