National Testing Agency (NTA) is the new conducting body of JEE Main from 2019 onwards. JEE Main 2019 will take place in online mode only. Important Things About JEE Main 2019 Registration

JEE Main 2019 Application Forms will be available on the official website of NTA. Candidates will have to first register themselves at nta.ac.in, then submit all the personal, educational and communication details. After submitting all the details, candidates will have to submit the application fee. Below are the important things that you must note down before you start the JEE Main 2019 Application Form fill up process.

#1 The Dates

Candidates can fill the application forms either for January examination or for April examination or for both the examinations. Candidates can check the important dates related to JEE Main 2019 Registration from the schedule mentioned below:

#2 Aadhaar Card

First and the Foremost thing which a candidate has to keep in mind is that it is mandatory to provide the Aadhaar Number at the time of registration. It is compulsory to enter the Aadhar Number. as without which one cannot proceed further. So, students should keep the Aadhar Number ready before starting the registration process.

Residents belonging to Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya and Assam will not be needing their Aadhar Number.

#2 Procedure to Upload Photograph and Signature

To upload the scanned image of the photograph, candidates need to follow certain steps. The steps for the same are given below:

  • The picture of the candidate must have candidate’s name and the date of capturing it inscribed on it.
  • The image should be in jpg/ jpeg format.
  • The size should be between 04 KB and 40 KB.
  • The dimension of the image should be 3.5 cm (width) and 4.5 cm (height) respectively.

Similarly, to upload the signature, candidates will have to follow specifications. They are given as follows:

  • The signature should be in neat handwriting, done with a blue or black pen.
  • Should be scanned in jpg/ jpeg format.
  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 01 KB to 30 KB.
  • The dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) and 4.5 cm (height) respectively.

#3 Application Fee

Following is the application fee of JEE Main 2019. Candidates will be able to submit the fee using  Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/e-Challan.

#4 Documents required at the time of Registration

There are some documents which are needed to be uploaded in the application form and there are some documents which are needed to be referred while filling the application form for JEE Main 2019.

Documents which are needed to be uploaded in the application form:

  • Passport size photograph of the candidate
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Signature of candidate’s guardian

Documents which are needed to be referred to fill the application form:

  • Aadhar Card
  • 10th class mark sheet
  • 12th class mark sheet

#5 How many times candidates can register?

Candidates will have to register themselves twice if they want to appear for both the examinations which will take place in January and then on April 2019. They can register themselves for January 2019 examination in the month of September 2018 and for the examination which is to be held in April 2019, they can register themselves in the month of February 2019.
