Eligibility Criteria Of IMU CET 2019
Before applying, candidates must ensure his or her eligibility. Candidates not fulfilling the eligibility criteria and still applying for IMU CET 2019, their applications will be canceled on the grounds of not meeting the eligibility norms. So, go through the eligibility criteria by the University surely before applying, from below. Note that, 5% of relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to SC/STs category.
- For 4 year B.Tech Engineering Courses – For PCM candidates – 60% of which a minmum of 50% in English in class 10th and 12th. For B.Tech Lateral Entry Programme, an overall of 60% is required
- For 2-year M.Tech Courses – BE/B.Tech in Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture with at least 60% marks from a recognized or any equivalent University.

IMU CET 2019 Online Registration
The registration for appearing in the IMU CET 2019 begins in the month of April, every year. Candidates need to register on the official website www.imu.edu.in, as per the dates released by the University. One needs to upload his/her photograph, scanned signature, scanned copy of 10th Std Mark sheet as proof of Date of Birth, scanned copy of 12th Std/ Degree Certificate, a copy of caste certificate( if applicable), and other documents asked for. A registration form will only be considered to be valid if the application fee has been submitted successfully. Applicants need to submit their application fee by choosing any of the online modes. It is advised to take sufficient printouts of the filled in application forms in A4 size sheets, as it will also be required for further admission rounds. Mind that, no applications will be considered after the last date lapses.
IMU CET 2019 Admit Cards
Indian Maritime Institute releases the admit cards for both B.Tech and M.Tech courses on their official website. The University will be sending notification over registered email and mobile number regarding the release of admit cards. Candidates need to log in with their credentials in order to download their admit cards for IMU CET 2019. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the exam venue without a valid admit card. The IMU CET 2019 Admit Card will contain details like Name, Gender, Exam Roll No., Date of Birth, Exam Venue, Date of Exam and Authorized signature, along with the signature and photograph of the candidate. Later in the document verification, the details mentioned on the admit card or on the application form will be verified. So it becomes necessary to provide only true details, otherwise, it may lead eventually to the cancellation of the candidature.
IMU CET 2019 Results
The IMU CET 2019 scores will only be considered for that particular year, in which the candidate has appeared for it. Candidates will be notified regarding the publication of result through an email or a text message by the University. After that, a candidate needs to check his/her IMU CET 2019 Result on the official website. The University would not be entertaining any requests for sending the IMU CET 2019 Scorecard via post. Before the result declaration date, the University also releases the official answer key for the courses. On the basis of this, candidates can actually estimate their chances of qualifying for this entrance and securing a seat under their desired course.
IMU CET 2019 Online Counseling
For the purpose of seat allotment, selected candidates will be required to register for online counseling for various B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The University will be opening a separate registration link for this purpose on the official website. In this round, basically, your original documents will be verified like the verification of the original mark sheets and certificates, along with the physical fitness certificate. Note that, the online counseling round is limited to admissions to IMU campuses only. Affiliated Colleges to IMU will not be conducting this round. Rather candidates with their IMU CET 2019 Result needs to report to the allotted IMU campus directly.
Last year, a non-refundable fee of 10,000 INR needed to be submitted as a counseling fee. Things will get clear after the release of the official release of the information brochure for this year. After this round, the candidate will be asked to submit the admission fee and freeze the allotted seat under their name, within the stipulated time period. Failure to do, the seat will be passed on to the next best candidate.
