JEE Main 2018 Answer Key for code A, B, C, D can now be accessed from this page. The unofficial answer key was released for the offline mode of the examination held on April 08, 2018. There are two types of answer key which are available: Official by CBSE and Unofficial by the Coaching Institutes. The official JEE Main answer key will be available on jeemain.nic.in, from April 24, 2018. The marking scheme of JEE Main 2018 is to be used while calculating the scores using the answer keys. The marking scheme of JEE Main 2018 is: Each correct answer will be awarded +4 marks. Every wrong answer will fetch -1 mark while any answer with no response will not be given any marks.

JEE Main 2018 Answer Key: Challenging

CBSE will provide the option to all the candidates to challenge the published answer key in the prescribed format. To be able to challenge the answer key the candidates need to follow certain norms. Challenging the answer key means, if any candidate comes across any mistake, or feels the need to correct certain answer can do so by providing relevant proof and paying a requisite amount.

Steps to challenge the answer key of JEE Main 2018:

  1. Challenging the answer key will be possible until 11:59 PM on April 27, 2018, on payment of Rs.1000/- per question. This amount will only be refunded on time.if their challenge is accepted.
  2. Candidates need to visit the direct link that will be provided on this page as per schedule or they can also visit the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in.
  3. Candidates will have to fill an online application form for this purpose.
  4. Next, the payment of the fee is to be made using credit/debit card.

CBSE will consider all challenges and decide which answers should be final. Their decision will be final and binding. Then, as per final answers, marks of candidates will be calculated to declare JEE Main 2018 Result.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2018 is a national level entrance exam. It is being held at 258 cities in India. JEE Main 2018 Result

After the challenge, the final answer key will be released if needed. The result will be based on this answer key. candidates will be able to check their JEE Main 2018 Scores and ranks with the declaration of the result. The result for paper 1 and paper 2 will be declared on separate days. CBSE will first declare the result of paper 1 on April 30, 2018, and then the result of paper 2 on May 31, 2018. Candidates will be able to login to check result on the official website of JEE Main 2018.

JEE Main 2018 Counselling

All candidates with valid JEE Main 2018 score and rank can participate in the counselling rounds. There are 404 programs and 25220 seats in all that is available through the centralised counselling. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will start the counselling for JEE Main 2018 after the declaration of the results. The schedule of the counselling process will be uploaded on the website itself.

Candidates need to register first. Then they exercise choices of the seat by selecting colleges and branches in order of preference. After that JoSAA allots seats on basis of JEE Main 2018 All India Rank. Candidates who get a seat must complete formalities for admission and finalise their seats.
