JEE Main 2019 Application Form – The application forms for JEE Main 2019 are no longer available as the application process has ended on October 01, 2018 completely. Candidates can apply for either January or April exam or for both the exams. There is no compulsion to select one or go for both, as long as candidate fulfils eligibility criteria. However, it is necessary to adhere to the schedule given below for form submission.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction

The application form correction window of JEE Main 2019 will open only for those candidates who have submitted the application form within the last date. This will be a one-time facility to make any changes in the application form. Thereafter, the data in the application will be treated as the final ones and will not be available for change any more.

Thus, candidates must review their application form and make corrections if any during this period from the quick links section above. To make the corrections candidates have to log in using their application number and password.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form – Statistics

As per the reports more than 9.65 applications are received for the first attempt of JEE Main 2019. However, only 29% of females have applied.

As per the report out of the total 9.65 lakh registered candidates, 6.85 lakhs are males and 2.8 lakhs are females. In addition to that, 38 transgenders have applied. Also, going by the category, 4.72 lakh applications are received from the General candidates, 3.67 lakh OBC candidates have applied, 0.89 lakh SC candidates have applied and 0.36 lakh applications are received from the ST category.

Aadhaar Card Not Mandatory For JEE Main 2019 Registration

For the last two years, in JEE Main the requirement of Aadhaar card has been made compulsory. In 2019, however, NTA has provided various options other than the Aadhaar Card like ration card, bank account, student id, voter id, passport, other valid government ids.

In the first step itself, candidates had to submit their id number. Thereafter you can proceed to other steps of filling the JEE Main 2019 Application form.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form: Documents Required

There are some documents that you need to upload in the application form, others that you need to refer. Thus, below we have categorised them for you:

The photo must have the name of the candidate and date of capturing it. Write it in neat handwriting with a Black or Blue pen.

How To Fill And Submit JEE Main Application Form 2019?

Follow the steps below to apply online for JEE Main 2019:

Step 1 – Registrations: Click the direct link available on this page. The following window will open. Click on the apply for JEE main 2019 button as shown below:

  • Next, you will see the following window. Enter the details and select a security pin (password) that you must note down. This will be needed for all future logins. Thereafter click the submit button.

Step 2 – Application Form Fill up: 

After successful submission of the above data, the Application number will be generated and it must be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form. In the remaining steps, you will have to fill in details like:

  • Personal Details
  • Academic Details
  • Contact Details
  • Guardian Details

Step 3 – Uploading Images:

Upload the images as per the specifications mentioned above. Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction will not be given.

Step 4 – Fee Payment:

Payment can be made using Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/e-Challan. The candidate has to select Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of the fee. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page.

    • Correction window will open between 08 – 14 Oct 2018. You can not fill the form again. Wait for the application form correction window to open.

    • you can not change the photograph and signature in the correction period. However, if your photo does not have name and date, do not worry, it will be accepted without name and date too.

    • JEE Main has two papers – Paper 1 and paper 2: Paper 1 is for admission in B.E/B.Tech courses and Paper 2 is for admission in B.Arch/B.Plan courses.
