JEE Main 2019 Dates – JEE Main 2019 will be held by the National Testing Agency (NTA). On Saturday i.e. on July 07, 2018, in a press conference, Prakash Javadekar had announced the JEE Main 2019 Exam Dates. JEE Main 2019 will be held twice a month and in online mode only. The examination will be held first in the month of January 2019 and then on April 2019. The official website of NTA is now live as nta.ac.in. Latest: JEE Main 2019 will be held on January 2019 and then on April 2019. NTA has not changed the syllabus, pattern of examination and eligibility criteria.

JEE Main 2019 Exam Date

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2019 first in the month of January and in 8 sittings. Thus, candidates will be able to choose any one dates of their choice to appear for the examination. Similarly later in the month of April, the same option will be made available to the candidates. Check the table below for all the dates:

NTA JEE Main 2019 Dates – January

For the exams that will be held in the month of January:

  • The application process will start from September 01, 2018.
  • The last date to submit the application form will be September 30, 2018.
  • The examination will be held 8 times between January 6 to 20, 2019. Candidates have to choose any one date to appear in the exam as per their choice.
  • For the JEE Main 2019 January exam, the result will be published in the first week of February 2019.

NTA JEE Main 2019 Dates – April

For the exams that will be held in the month of April:

  • The application process will start from the Second week of February 2019.
  • The examination will be held 8 times between April 7 to 21, 2019. Candidates have to choose any one date to appear in the exam as per their choice.
  • For the JEE Main 2019 January exam, the result will be published in the first week of May 2019.

How will the Result be calculated?

Now, the examinations will be held twice. Thus, candidates can choose either to appear in one exam or in both the examination. If they choose to appear in both the exam, the best marks of the candidates will be used for ranking.

Also, the scores of different candidates in multiple sittings will also be equated using standardisation techniques.
