Below is how the JEE Main 2019 Response Sheet and question paper will look like:
Calculation of Marks through JEE Main 2019 Response Sheet
A candidate can get a fair idea about the score obtained in the JEE Main 2019 Exam through the JEE Main Response Sheet and the JEE Main Answer Key 2019. In Paper-I, the Maximum Marks are 360 and there are 90 Questions. In Paper II, there are 82 Questions and the Maximum marks are 390. A candidate can calculate the marks using the following method
- Note the amount of attempted questions
- Note the number of correct and incorrect answers
- Award 4 marks for each correct answer and deduct 1 for each wrong answer.
Here is the formula- (Number of correct answers) x 4-(Number of incorrect answers) x 1
For example, if a student in Paper-I attempts 80 out of the 90 questions and 60 of them are correct and 20 incorrect, then 60 x 4 – 10 x 1= 280 – 10 = 240.
Which means you got 240 marks out of the 360.
