JEE Main 2020 Application Form – National Testing Agency has reopened the application form filling facility for the candidates from Jammu and Kashmire region. This application form filling is to be compketed along with paying the registration fee until November 8, 2019. Candidates need to visit the new website of JEE Main that is, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA also hosts a window for the JEE Main 2020 application form correction. This window is available for the candidates from October 14. After the correction process ends, the admit card to the eligible candidates will be available online at jeemain.nta.nic.in Login in order to appear in the JEE Main 2020 exam.

JEE Main 2020 Application Form
Candidates can apply for either January or April exam or for both the exams. There is no compulsion to select one or go for both, as long as candidate fulfills eligibility criteria. However, it is necessary to adhere to the schedule given below for form submission.

JEE Main 2020 application form for J & K candidates
NTA has reopened the window for JEE Main 2020 application form filling for the candidates from Jammu and Kashmir region. Candidates can start filling the application form from November 4, 2019. The application form filling facility has been provided until November 8. Candidates need to successfully submit the application form along with paying the requisite amount of application fee for the same until the last date.
JEE Main 2020 Application Form Correction
The application form correction window of JEE Main 2020 is opened only for those candidates who have submitted the application form within the last date. This will be a one-time facility to make any changes in the JEE Main 2020 online application. Thereafter, the data in the application will be treated as the final one and will not be available for change anymore.
Thus, candidates must review their jee main registration form and make corrections if any during this period from the quick links section above. To make the corrections candidates have to log in using their application number and password.
Steps for JEE Main Application Form Correction
Candidates need to follow the steps below to make changes in the errors made while filling teh application form.
- Visit the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in)
- Click on the button stating ‘Application Form Correction’. Check the image below for the reference.
- Login using the aplication number and the password.
- In the login dashboard click scroll below and click on the ‘Correction in Application Form’
- Details filled in the application form appears, you can now make the necessary changes.
- After making the changes applicant need to confirm the changes
- Pay an amount as the JEE Main form correction fee.

Now to upload the photographs and signatures you have to follow certain specifications. Although NTA might change them as per their requirement, we will update them here if any changes are made.

How To Fill And Submit JEE Main Application Form 2020?
NTA may make few changes on their website, but the basic process of registering, filling the application form, and making payment will remain the same.
Follow the steps below to apply online for JEE Main 2020:
Step 1 – Registration:
Click the direct link available on this page. The following window will open. Click on the apply for JEE main 2020 button as shown below:
Next window appearing is the window which asks for whether you are registered or you are a new candidate, select the desired option and proceed further in the JEE Main 2020 Apply online process. Refer to the image below for the reference purpose.
- Now the candidate will see a new window wherein they will find the instructions regarding the Fill up of the application form. These instructions include the application fee details, Photo and signature specifications etc.
Step 2 – Filling the Registration form
After successfully checking the box stating “I have downloaded Information Bulletin, read and understood the Instructions” and proceeding further, the candidates are able to complete the registration in the next window. The registration form includes

After completing step 2, candidates need to review the details filled in the Registration form and finally submit the same After the confirmation candidates will get their Application number using which they can login the candidate portal of JEE MAin for the future examination process. Step 3 – Fill up the Application Form

In this section candidates need to enter the programme they need to appear. Candidates can select one programme or both programmes. Also candidates are asked the exam city preferance and the medium of the quiestion paper they want to appear in.
# Educational Details
In this section of the application form the aspiring candidates need to provide their educational qualifications that is details for class 10th as well as class 12th. Candidates can refer the image below for the detailed view of the section:
# Additional Details
In this section of the application form, candidates need to enter the details of the parent’s income and occupation. After doing the same candidates will be asked to enter the security pin as shown on the screen.
After the successful completion of the above steps candidates need to click on the “Submit” button. Refer the image below to check the same:
Completing the above steps will lead you to review of the filled-in form. Candidates need to review the form and click on the “Final Submit” button. After checking the declaration.
Step 3 – Uploading Images:
Upload the images as per the specifications mentioned above. Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction will not be given.
Step 4 – Fee Payment:
Payment can be made using Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/e-Challan. The candidate has to select Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of the fee. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page.

There will be two application forms in JEE Main 2020!
Yes, now that JEE Main 2020 will be conducted twice a year, candidates have to register for both of them separately.
