JEE Main April 2019 Application Form – National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the Application form correction window on March 11, 2019. Candidates were allowed to rectify the application form which was wrongly filled earlier. JEE Main 2019 Admit Card has been released. Candidate Login was used for application form correction, same can be used for admit card download. Application form correction was available for both JEE Main January and April examination including the EWS category candidates. Candidates who had registered for the January exam had to use their January exam application number and password to log in for JEE Main April 2019. Such candidates do not need to authenticate themselves again. Any 10+2 qualified or qualifying candidates in 2019 are eligible to fill the JEE Main 2019 Application Form. For the January attempt, a total of 11,09,250 candidates registered. Of these, a total of 9,29,198 students registered for Paper 1 and 1,80,052 for Paper 2. Notification for EWS Category
NTA to provide 10% EWS (Economically Weaker Section) quota on JEE Main merit list to those general category candidates who come under this quota. As per the notice issued by NTA on March 02, 2019, candidates can select the EWs quota in their application form from March 11 to 15, 2019.
Facility For The Candidates Who Have Registered For January Attempt
You guys can use your January exam application number and password to fill the April exam application form. This means you do not need to fill the authentication form. However, you need to fill the application form, pay the fee, upload scanned images all over again.

Specification Of Scanned Documents For JEE Main April 2019 Application Form
National Testing Agency has specified the guideline as per which the photo and signature are to be uploaded in the application form. These guidelines are mandatory to follow, otherwise, your image will not be uploaded in the application form and might also lead to the cancellation of the application form.

How To Fill The JEE Main April 2019 Application Form
The JEE Main 2019 Application Form will have to be accessed, filled and submitted at jeemain.nic.in. To start with accessing the application form the candidates have to authenticate themselves first, then on authentication fill the application form by filling the relevant fields and the uploading the documents. Lastly to submit the form the candidates need to make payment in online mode or via e-challan facility. Check these steps in details below:
Step 1: Registration/Authentication (not needed for candidates who have registered in the January exam)
- Visit the direct link on this page above. The following window will open, click on the button as shown in the below image:
- Next, a window with important instructions will open up. Read all the instructions very carefully, then tick on the checkbox for declaration and click on “Proceed to Apply Online” button.
- Thereafter the page will open with the authentication form. Fill these details:

- Now, click on the “Submit” button.
- After completion of the above step, the candidates will get their Application Number and Password.
Step 2: Fill out the application form

Step 3: Uploading The Scanned Images
No as per the specification the candidates need to upload the colored scanned images of recent passport sized photo and also the signature. Below is the sample on how the photo and signature image should appear after uploading:
Important instructions for uploading the scanned images:
- It must be in running hand.
- The signature must not be in caps.
- The photo can be black and white or colored but must be very clear.
- The photo must have the name of the candidate and date of taking the picture printed on it.
- It should be without cap or goggles
- Spectacles are allowed
- Polaroid photos are not acceptable.
Step 4: Paying the Application Fee
After step 3 is complete, candidates need to make the payment of the application fees. The application fees can be paid using the online mode or the e-challan. The application fees have been discussed above, however, there are few extra charges that may be applicable in online payment mode. Details are given below:

Are You Eligible To Fill The JEE Main 2019 April Application Form?
It is important that you know the JEE Main 2019 Eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the form. The candidates who find themselves ineligible to fill the JEE Main April 2019 Application Form, must not proceed with the registration, as later on, this might cause a problem. - Age Limit: Age is no bar in JEE Main 2019.
- Number of attempts: Candidates can appear in JEE Main 2019 in 3 consecutive years.

JEE Main April 2019 Application Form Correction
The application form correction window will open for all the successfully registered candidates. The candidates need to log in using their application form number and password/date of birth. The window will remain open for 1 week and during this period candidates need to complete rectification of any error in the application form. Remember this will be a one time opportunity to rectify any error, the correction window will not open again.

About JEE Main 2019
JEE Main is national level examination conducted every year for admission in UG engineering courses at the NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and many private colleges of India. From 2019, National testing Agency is conducting the exam. Until last year, CBSE was the conducting body of JEE Main. From 2019. JEE Main is to be conducted in online mode only and twice a year.
There are 2 papers in JEE Main 2019 – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The candidates who wish to take admission in B.E/B.Tech courses they need to qualify the paper 1. On the other hand, if one wishes for admission in B.Arch/B.Plan courses they need to qualify the Paper 2 exam.
Any student who fulfills the eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2019, can appear for the exam. Statistics Of JEE Main 2019 First Attempt Registration
NTA confessed that it did not expect these many registrations for the first attempt of JEE Mian 2019 itself. The first attempt of JEE Main 2019 exam in January saw a total registration of 11,09,250 candidates. Out of these, a total of 9,29,198 students registered for Paper 1 and 1,80,052 for Paper 2.
In addition to that, to divide this date category wise, In Paper 1, it was seen that, 4.72 lakh applications are received from the General candidates, 3.67 lakh OBC candidates have applied, 0.89 lakh SC candidates have applied and 0.36 lakh applications are received from the ST category. Also, 6.85 lakhs registrations were from the males and 2.8 lakhs were from females.
