JEECE 2018 Result

JCECEB will announce the JEECE 2018 Result on the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. However, JCECEB has yet not declared the exact date, but it is expected by the third week of June 2018. Also, apart from the results of JEECE 2018, the board will prepare a merit list. This merit list will be based on the marks in the examination. Also, candidates will be called in the counselling rounds according to their position in the merit list of JEECE 2018. The examination will be in the offline mode, but the result will be only available in the online mode. No other mode to check the JEECE 2018 Result will be available.

How to Check JEECE 2018 Result

To check the JEECE 2018 Result candidates need to follow the steps below:

  • Visit the direct link that will be activated above on this page as per schedule.
  • Thereafter, the page containing the login window will appear.
  • Enter the details asked and your result will appear on the screen.
  • Then, you can download it and take a print out of the same.

What will the JEECE 2018 Result Contain?

The JEECE 2018 Result will have the following details:

  • Name
  • Roll number/ application number
  • Section-wise scores
  • Total scores
  • Category
  • Qualifying status
  • Rank obtained

JEECE 2018 Merit List

The board will also publish a Merit List based on the marks of the candidates in JEECE 2018. Also, as per the position a candidate has in the merit list (Rank), they will be called in the counselling rounds. Therefore the candidates must download and check their position on the list. There will be no sign in required to get the merit list.

JCECEB will prepare two types of merit list:

  1. Combined Merit List
  2. Category-Wise Merit List

Tie-Breaking Process of JEECE 2018:

If two or more candidates get the same score in the exam, then the following rules will be applicable to break the tie.

  1. Candidates getting higher marks in Mathematics will be given preference.
  2. If the tie still exists, then the candidates having a higher score in Physics will be preferred.
  3. Even if the tie remains, then candidates older in age will be preferred.
  4. If the tie still remains, then ranking will be done as per English alphabetical order of the First Name.

Checking and Re-Evaluation of Answer Sheets

The board ensure proper scrutiny and checking of the answer sheets. As the OMR sheet is machine gradable, mistakes in checking of the paper are rare. Thus, requests for rechecking or re-evaluation will not be entertained.

After Declaration of JEECE 2018 Result

After the JEECE 2018 Result is declared, candidates will be called for the counselling rounds. In fact, JCECEB will call the candidates as per their position in the merit list of JEECE 2018. The counselling dates are yet to be declared.

JEECE 2018 Counselling

JCECEB will conduct two counselling rounds:

Round 1: Candidates up to certain ranks will be called for the seat allotment process in this round. The details of which will be available after the declaration of JEECE 2018 Result. Board will allow them to select their preferred seats. Thereafter, verification of documents will take place. Also after all the formalities, admission will be finalised.

Round 2: If any seat remains vacant. the board will organise round 2. Accordingly, the remaining candidates will be called in this round as per the availability of seats. Also, candidates who want to change their allotted seat in round 1 can appear in this round. Other formalities will remain same as discussed for round 1 above.

Counselling Fees
Selected candidates need to pay the following amounts by RTGS or using Credit Card/Debit Card.

Documents important for JEECE 2018 Counselling

The board will verify the candidate’s identity and eligibility criteria during the admission rounds. Thus, candidates should carry the following documents in original in their counselling rounds.

  1. Admit card, Mark Sheet, Passing Certificate of class 10.
  2. Admit card, Mark Sheet, Passing Certificate of class 12.
  3. Local Resident Certificate
  4. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  5. Income Certificate
  6. Passport Sized Pictures (Same as the one uploaded in the application form of JEECE)
  7. Admit Card of JEECE 2018
  8. Disability Certificate (if applicable)
