Karnataka PGCET 2019 Result

After the KEA is done conducting the PGCET 2019, it prepares and releases a separate merit list for ME/ M.Tech courses as per the dates released them. How To View Your Karnataka PGCET 2019 Result?

  • From the main page of Karnataka Examination Authority, click on the link saying “Karnataka PGCET 2019”.
  • There on the next window, you will find the result link. Click on that.
  • Your Karnataka PGCET 2019 Result pdf will open, from there check whether or not you have qualified for the next admission rounds.
If you have gotten the minimum requisite marks, only then shall you will be allowed to participate in further admission rounds like the document verification and finally, in the seat allocation process conducted by KEA.

What’s Next?

As per the scores secured by a candidate, the KEA will prepare merit list and release it over their official page. Further on the basis of the merit achieved, a candidate will be called for document verification and seat allotment round, held by the authorities. Separate merit list will be released for categories belonging to different categories and courses applied for. Also, GATE qualified candidates will have a separate merit list than the selected sponsored candidates and the candidates who had qualified the entrance exam.

All candidates must note that the admission procedure followed across both the campuses(Kuvempu and Mysore University) will be remaining the same, though separate merit lists will be released for both of these Universities. Once a candidate has cleared both these rounds, he or she will finally be allotted a seat in one of the participating Universities under KEA. He/she will also be requested to submit a specified amount of money as an admission fee to reserve the seat under his or her name.

Tie- Breaking Policy

Inter-se merit shall be taken into consideration in case of two or more people ending up getting the same merit. In such a situation, firstly the marks of the qualifying exams of both the candidates will be considered. If it still remains the same, the candidate’s age will be considered. The elder candidate will be given the primary preference in such a situation.

Documents To Be Carried For The Seat Selection Process

These documents necessarily need to be carried at the time of seat selection process conducted by the Karnataka Examination Board. A candidate applying under government seat necessarily needs to furnish original documents along with an attested copy of each of these documents listed below. Note that, 2 passport size recent photographs will also be required on this day. The attested ones will be retained by the KEA, whereas the original ones will be returned to the candidate after its verification.
