How to calculate marks using the KCET 2018 Answer key for Physics and Chemistry

To calculate your score you will need the KCET 2018 Question paper and answer key of Set A, B, C, D, E, F, G, or H whichever matches your question paper set. Now follow the steps below:

  1. Crosscheck your response in the KCET 2018 examination and count the number of wrong and the number of correct answers.
  2. Once you have this, use the given formula to know the total estimated score.

Total score = 1 X No. of correct answers

Why this formula? because in KCET 2018, for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and even for Biology the marking scheme is: +1 for each correct answer and no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions. Thus, this formula can be used to get the estimated score.

After 2 or 3 days, KEA will release the official KCET 2018 Answer Key. This will be a more reliable source of crosschecking the answers. ASince, this will be the official answer key, KEA will accept challenges if needed. If the challenges are accepted then a final answer key will be released.

KCET 2018 Results

KCET 2018 Results will be available in the month of May. The dates are yet not declared, but it is expected in last week. On the basis of the KCET 2018 Result, the admission will be done. It will be declared online and candidates will be able to check it on the official website of KCET 2018 itself.
