IPU CET M.Tech

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar conducts the KIIT Entrance Examination commonly known as KIITEE every year for admissions in various Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses. It is an All India Entrance Examination. The application process of KIITEE 2019 is expected to start in the month of November 2018.

If you are looking forward to take admission in the B.Tech or in the M.Tech programmes at KIIT, then you must keep a track of the important dates of the admission process on this page. Candidates who want to apply for M.Tech courses and have a GATE Score will be given preference in the admission process and a candidate with a GATE score of 400 or above do not need to take the KIITEE 2019. The eligibility criteria are discussed in details below for both B.Tech and M.Tech programmes.

KIITEE 2019 Complete Details

KIIT has different schools which further has divisions into Undergraduate and Post- Graduate Programs. KIITEE 2019 will be held at different centres across the country and is expected to be held in the month of April. You must note that the examination will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). It will not be conducted offline. After reaching the allotted test centres and when cleared by the security, candidates will have to immediately report to the registration desk. After reaching the registration desk, the verification process will start namely verification about the identity card, finger prints, scanned admit card. Also, after the examination and declaration of the results, qualified candidates will have to be present in person in the counselling process.

Exam Pattern of KIITEE 2019

The KIITEE 2019 is an online entrance examination. The exam pattern of id described below. The exam pattern will help you strategize your preparation. Know the marking scheme, time duration and question paper pattern below:

  • Language: Only English.
  • Type of Questions: MCQ only.
  • Marking Scheme: A Correct answer will fetch you 4 marks and a wrong answer will deduct 1 marks.
  • Time of the examination: 180 Minutes.

Syllabus for KIITEE 2019

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology has prescribed syllabus for KIITEE. The 2019 KIITEE syllabus will be uploaded to the information Brochure. Till then you may refer the 2018 KIITEE Syllabus. The syllabus is expected to remain the same for 2019 too. The Subjects that you will need to cover are for B.Tech Programme are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

KIITEE 2019 Preparation Tips

Many of you would like to know how you can prepare for KIITEE 2019 entrance examination. One of the most prestigious Engineering College in the country, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar intakes admissions for the B.Tech and M.Tech courses through KIITEE. Here are few ways which will be helpful for your KIITEE 2019 preparations:

  • Know the syllabus for KIITEE 2019 examination.
  • Primarily, you should manage your time for preparation. Make a note of a total number of topics and subjects versus days/months you have for preparation and prepare a Time Table accordingly.

KIITEE 2019 Application Form

Candidates should keep in mind that KIITEE 2019 Application Form will be available in online mode only. Candidates will have to visit the official website in order to fill the application form. Then, after that candidates will see a link or button popping as “Apply Online.” You have to first select your nationality and then will have to enter the course name for which you are applying. After this, candidates will be able to fill their personal, academic and communication details. Upload the relevant documents and then after filling all the relevant information and submitting the documents, click on the submit button.

Note: Till this year, there was no application fee for KIITEE, however, amendments can be made by the governing authority for the next examination.

KIITEE 2019 Admit Card

Now, if candidates have successfully filled KIITEE 2019 Application Form, they will be issued KIITEE 2019 Admit Card. It is a noteworthy thing which candidates have to keep in mind that the admit card will be issued to only those students who will submit the Application Form in a prescribed way and have received the confirmation for the same. The admit cards for KIITEE 2019 will be made available online only. It will not be sent to candidates by post or by any other means. The candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website and by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth.

KIITEE 2019 Admit Card will be comprising of following information:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Course Name
  • Date and Time of the Examination
  • Complete Address of the Test Centre
  • Photograph and Signature of the Candidate

Candidates should jot this down that admit cards acts as an entry ticket in the examination centre and it has to be carried by the candidates positively at the time of examination. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the test centre.

KIITEE 2019 Answer Key

The answer keys for B.Tech/ M.Tech courses will be available as soon as KIITEE 2019 examination will get over. The answer keys will be available in a PDF file format. The main advantage of answer key is that candidates can have a rough idea about their performance in the entrance examination, on the basis of which, they can have an idea about their admission. However, it is to be kept in mind that the admission will take place on the basis of the results declared by the governing authority.

KIITEE 2019 Result

After the KIITEE 2019 Examination, the governing authority will announce the results of KIITEE 2019. The results will be available online. Candidates can visit the official website to check the result and enter their application number and date of birth for the same. A merit list will be prepared for the students who want to take admission in B.Tech. B.Tech (LE), M.tech courses. A cut-off qualifying marks will be fixed by the university at the time of declaration of the entrance result.

Cut off Rank will be released depending upon the availability of seats. Candidates who will be having higher rank above the notified cut-off rank, they will be called for counselling.

KIITEE 2019 Counselling

After the declaration of KIITEE 2019 Results, qualified candidates will be called for the counselling. So, the students who will score higher than the notified rank cut-off score, they will be called for counselling. Candidates have to bring certain documents at the time of counselling with them. The documents which have to be brought are given below:

  • KIITEE 2019 Rank Card
  • 12th class Marksheet and Pass Certificate
  • 10th class Marksheet and Pass Certificate
  • Diploma Pass Certificate and 3 years Marksheet for Lateral Candidates

Fee Structure of KIIT

Candidates can refer to the table given below to know about the amount details they have to pay at the beginning of every semester for different programmes.

Additional Fees:

  • During Counselling: Candidates will have to pay Rs 75,000 at the time of counselling which includes the amount of Registration, Admission Kit, Laptop & Blazer.
  • Examination Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 per semester for the examination.
  • Registration Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 every semester for registration. However, for the first semester, the registration fee will be collected at the time of counselling and for rest of the semesters, it will be collected at the beginning of the semester.
  • Hostel Fees: Hostel Fees will be charged as per the accommodation facility selected by the students. The specifications and the amount for the same are given below:

i) Non AC Hostels (2 Bedded): Rs 30,000 per semester
ii) Non AC Hostels (3 Bedded): Rs 21,000 per semester
iii) Non AC Hostels (2 Bedded): Rs 27,000 per semester (only for Law Hostels)
iv) AC Hostels (1 Bedded): Rs 65,000 per semester
v) AC Hostels(2 Bedded): Rs 50,000 per semester
vi) AC Hostels (3 Bedded): Rs 40,000 per semester
