KLMEE 2019 – KL Marine Entrance Examination is a joint admission exam for admission at DG Shipping Govt. of India approved Institutes. Qualifying this exam will lead to admissions in B.Tech. Marine Engineering (4 Years) and B.Sc. Nautical Science (3 Years) courses at colleges in Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Mahesana, Kanyakumari, Jaipur, Udaipur & Dehradun etc. Eligible candidates who are 10+2 level (Maths/Bio) can apply for this examination. The dates of KLMEE 2019 is now available. The application form to apply for KLMEE 2019 will be available from September 03, 2018 in the online mode only. The KLMEE 2019 Date is Sunday, February 24, 2019. Thus, candidates have to visit the KLMEE 2019 Official Website, klmee.co.in to apply online.
KLMEE 2019 will be an offline examination. The duration of the exam will be of 3 Hours and will be completed in 1 shift only. The questions will be all MCQ type with no negative marking. KL Marine Entrance Examination is being conducted since the last 9 years. After the candidates qualify the examination they appear in the counselling rounds. KLMEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Here are the course wise eligibility criteria for admissions:
B.Sc Nautical Science
- 10+2 PCM with minimum 60% aggregate marks with minimum 50% marks in English at 10th or 12th level is a must.
Age: Not exceeding 25 years as on the date of commencement of Training Program.
B.Tech. Marine Engineering
- 10+2 with minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM from recognized Board / Universities with minimum 50% marks in English at 10th or 12th level is a must.
Age: Not exceeding 25 years as on the date of commencement of Training Program.
Medical Fitness for B.Sc Nautical Science and B.Tech. Marine Engineering
Medically fit with eyesight 6/9, with or without external aids. No colour blindness. Medical examination will be conducted by doctors approved by D.G. Shipping Govt. of India.
KLMEE 2019 Application Form
To apply for KLMEE 2019, candidates have to fill the online application form. There are no other modes available for the same. Thus, if you are willing to appear in KLMEE, then completing the online application form on time is a must. Read below to know how to fill the online application form in brief:
- First, register with your name, father’s name, mobile number, email id and date of birth.
- Second, fill the application form
- Third, upload required images (signature and passport sized photo)
- Fourth, make payment.
- Fifth, take print out of the form
Mode of application is Online only (Credit/Debit card/Net banking) and Application fee is Rs. 600/-.
KLMEE 2019 Admit Card
Those candidates who will successfully submit their application will be able to download their KLMEE 2019 Admit card from the website as per the schedule. The admit card will be available under the candidate’s login. By entering the application number and password, candidates will be able to download the admit card of KLMEE 2019.
The admit card will contain all the important details like the exam date and time, the examination venue name and address. Candidates mus positively download the admit card and carry it to the exam centre. No candidate will be able to enter the exam hall without the admit card.

KLMEE 2019 Preparation

KLMEE 2019 Result
Once the examination is complete at all the centres, the result will be available online only. The KLMEE 2019 Result will be available under the candidates’ login. On entering the application number the result will be displayed on the screen. On the basis of the result, candidates will have to appear in the e-counselling.
