The admission to B.Tech/M. Tech at Manipal University will be strictly on the basis of MU OET 2019 i.e. Manipal Entrance Exam 2019. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the score of the candidates in this examination.   • Number of Questions: 50 Questions from the respective disciplines & 10 questions from Engineering Mathematics.
  • Total Questions: 60
  • Type of Questions: MCQs
  • Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each wrong answer.

Note: All candidates possessing valid GATE score will be given 10% additional marks and ranked on the merit list for M.Tech Admission. Candidates with GATE score must enclose the photocopy of their GATE scorecard along with the Application Form. Without which the additional marks will not be awarded.

Manipal Entrance Exam 2019 Merit List / Result

The merit list will be declared on the official website of Manipal University after the conduct of MU OET 2019. The result/merit list will be published as per the above-mentioned schedule for the engineering programmes. The candidates who will meet the qualifying criteria, which is min. 50% score in Manipal Entrance Exam 2019, will be eligible for further admission process. An applicant is allowed to take a second attempt if she/he is not satisfied with his/her performance in the first test. The best of two scores is considered for the merit list.

Manipal University Counselling 2019

Candidates selected will be attending the counselling in person as per the schedule. The candidates will be needing to produce certain documents during the counselling process at Manipal University. During counselling, all candidates are required to produce the original and two sets of photocopies of the following documents. In the event of admission, the University will retain these documents until the candidate completes the course.
