The Directorate of Technical Education of Maharashtra conducts an entrance test for admitting students under full-time degree courses in engineering and technology. This test is known as MHT Common Entrance Test. And to appear for this test, a candidate will require MHT CET 2019 Admit Card. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the examination hall without it and a valid ID proof.

The MHT CET 2019 Admit Card will be available on the official website. Candidates won’t be allowed to opt for an offline mode for the same. They will be required to log in to their admission portal to be able to retrieve their MHT CET 2019 Admit Card. Generally, the DTE Maharashtra releases the admit cards from the last week of April to the first week of May, every year. How To Download MHT CET 2019 Admit Card?

  • Click on the link provided above.
  • Log in to your application portal by entering your username and password.
  • You will be directly taken to the Admit Card page, where your admit card would appear on the screen.
  • Right after viewing your admit card, surely save a copy of it.
  • Make sure to take 2-3 copies of it, in case you lose one on the day of the exam.
  • You will also require your admit card for further admission rounds. So, preserve it even after you have appeared for the exam.

What happens if you forget your password?
At times, it happens that you end up forgetting your password provided to you at the time of registering. In such a situation, all you need to do is provide all the details like your application number, date of birth and answer the security question or provide the OTP sent to you. Make sure while choosing the OTP option, you actually have your registered mobile number in a working condition. And that’s how you will be able to generate your new password.

What happens if you forgot your application number?
In this case, you will need to start by clicking on the option “I can’t access my login” below the already registered login portal. Select “I forget application id” option from there. On the next page, fill your name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth. To proceed, click “Submit”.

Start preparing for MHT CET 2019

After one is done with getting his/her MHT CET 2019 admit card online, one can start preparing for the entrance. Candidates can first start by knowing the syllabus and the exam pattern for the test.

The MHT CET 2019 Exam Pattern will be as follows:

  • There will be 3 sections to the test Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, and Biology(Botany) or Biology(Zoology).
  • It will be a Multiple Choice Question(MCQ) answer type paper.
  • Pen and Paper based entrance test.
  • Duration – 4.5 hours
  • Each section carrying 100 marks each.
  • There will be no negative marking but the difficulty level will be the same as that of JEE Main paper.
  • The questions will be asked from the class 11th and 12th courses syllabus.
  • Candidates will be provided with an OMR sheet to mark their responses.
